Shunya Social Media Manager is a local-first drafting tool. This policy covers the app. The studio website has its own policy at shunyabots.com/privacy.
What stays on your device
The brand brain, the 30-day plan, approval state, performance notes, appearance, and the disclosure setting are stored on the device you are using. There is no Shunya Social account. Uninstalling the app, or using Reset this device, removes that copy.
When a page is read
If you enter a website address, the reading server fetches the public pages you asked for, extracts services, tone, audience and questions, and returns that brand brain. It does not keep a profile of you. It refuses private network addresses. It does not ask for a password to any social network.
Optional model
Drafts are written by a deterministic template unless the operator of the server sets an AI API key. If a key is set, a rewrite sends the brand brain and the draft to that provider. If the reply adds a claim that is not on the site, it is discarded.
Posting
Export and share are the default. Official posting adapters for X, YouTube, Meta and TikTok stay off until the operator adds keys and explicitly arms them. This build still does not send the post.
Children
The app is for people who run a business. It is not directed at children.
